Now one company has pledged to help Feed The Children continue its outreach: Cordless Workz
/24-7PressRelease.com/ - ROUND ROCK, Texas, March 25, 2005 -- In the weeks and months following the December tsunami that left five million homeless in Southeast Asia, international relief organization Feed The Children (http://www.feedthechildren.org) sent more than 3.5 million pounds of supplies to the devastated region - but the need is ongoing. Now one company has pledged to help Feed The Children continue its outreach: Cordless Workz (http://www.cordlessworkz.com) will donate 50% of its profits during the week of March 23rd to Feed The Children's tsunami relief efforts.
From March 23rd through March 29th, 2005, all purchases at CordlessWorkz.com will help supply food, clothing, bottled water and medical supplies to Indonesia, Thailand, India, Maldives and Sri Lanka.
"We hope customers will consider purchasing from CordlessWorkz.com during this Feed The Children support effort," stated Bill Nagel, President of Cordless Workz. "Disasters of such magnitude require large-scale efforts to help promote recovery. Individuals and organizations need to pull together to maximize the impact of ongoing efforts. So we are also challenging others to donate directly to Feed The Children and other highly rated charities that are involved with the Southeast Asia disaster."
"We are so grateful to Bill and everyone at CordlessWorkz.com for reaching out to those in need in Southeast Asia," said Larry Jones, President and Founder of Feed The Children. "Because of the scale of the devastation caused by the tsunami, it is more important than ever before that we work together to get help into the hands of the smallest victims of this disaster - the children."
